By closely linking AI technologies with engineering processes, routines can be automated, data chains can be closed, innovation cycles can be shortened and new approaches to design can be developed. Here, we bundle in-depth engineering expertise and AI competence to develop customized, advanced solutions together with partners from industry and science. The aim is to accelerate development processes, increase productivity and systematically drive innovation &#8211; with a clear business impact, such as shorter development times or reducing the workload of skilled workers through automated routines and intelligent assistance systems.  <\/p>\n<h2>Copilots and AI agents for product development<\/h2>\n<p>Engineering Automation stands for the targeted use of AI and automation to make development processes more efficient, consistent and data-integrated. AI-supported copilots, which act like a &#8216;ChatGPT for product development&#8217;, play a key role here. They support engineers in automated requirements analysis, the generation of consistent system architectures, intelligent data migration and automated code generation.<br \/>\nSupplemented by AI agents and methods such as RAG or finetuning, which can be used to harness company knowledge in a targeted manner, optimize domain-specific models and make results more precise for development practice.
