New member: Atos brings international IT expertise to the network
Atos, one of the leading international companies for digital transformation, is joining the it’s OWL cluster of excellence. As a new core company, Atos brings expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence, IT security and sustainable technologies to the network, thereby expanding the expertise in the interaction between industry, research and SMEs.
As Europe’s number one in the areas of cyber security, cloud and high-performance computing, Atos is working towards a secure and decarbonized future – and is now also contributing this expertise to the regional collaboration at it’s OWL.
The Atos Group is a leading global provider in the field of digital transformation. With around 70,000 employees and an annual turnover of around 10 billion euros, the company operates in 67 countries under two brands: Atos for services and Eviden for products.

Cooperation with SMEs and research
In exchange with partners from OstWestfalenLippe, Atos wants to work in particular on how digital technologies can be used in a production-oriented and practical manner.
The focus is on solutions for the secure networking of machines, data-driven services and approaches for climate-friendly production processes. The aim is for SMEs in the region in particular to benefit from international IT expertise.
